There are several parking possibilities along the road, making it possible to access different sectors of Sothaugen and Vallset from multiple points. Common parking coordinates include 60.606975, 11.461447 — 60.603253, 11.463102 — 60.600252, 11.462566 — and 60.594291, 11.466162.
Approaches vary depending on where you park and which boulders you plan to visit. Most of the sectors can be reached within approximately 5-15 minutes, although some of the more remote boulders require longer walks through uneven forest terrain. Fallen trees, dense vegetation, and less distinct trails can occasionally make navigation more challenging, especially in the quieter and less frequently visited sectors. However, several paths and animal tracks can be used to move between the boulders.
