Parking
Main parking:
Large trailhead parking at Ytre Moa.
Drive on Rv.53 towards Tyin and take the first left after leaving Øvre Årdal, marked with a small sign reading “Moa”. Follow signs to the parking area.
Alternative parking:
Bus stop in Utladalen (not recommended).
Approach
From the main parking, follow the gravel road with gates uphill, passing a lean‑to shelter (gapahuk). Continue on the most obvious path, keeping right toward Moakamben.
Cross the flat area and locate a smaller path leading toward the scree field. Ascend the scree directly. On climber’s right there is a small step and faint trails — follow these to reach Section B – Dalaveggen høyre.
From the bus stop, take the stairs, turn left immediately, and follow the path until it joins the main trail before the scree field.
Other sections
Sections C and F: Walk past Section A and continue uphill through the forest.
Sections A and B have rappel anchors above the ledge for top‑rope setup and cleaning — follow the established path.Olbogekråi and routes further right are accessed from the base of Section C.
