No special access issues
🚗 Arrival:
From the A5 motorway, take the Aosta Ovest exit and keep left, following signs for Aosta / St. Pierre. At the roundabout, take the last exit toward Saint-Pierre / Courmayeur. Continue along the SS26, passing through the villages of Saint-Pierre and Villeneuve until you arrive at the large roundabout in Arvier. Take the second exit toward Valgrisenche. After about 900 meters, stay left on the main uphill road, continuing to follow signs for Valgrisenche. Drive along the main road for 12.4 km and turn right into La Béthaz. Go through the tiny village and park at the end of the paved road.
Please note: Parking space here is limited. Kindly park strictly in designated spots and avoid private residential parking. If the parking area is full, you can use the larger parking lot for the Le Gare crag, located just a few minutes away.
🚶♂️ Sectors:
From the parking area, take trail number 18 following signs for Rifugio degli Angeli. Continue along the path until you cross a small wooden bridge. About 40 meters after the bridge, a trail branches off to the left. If you are heading to La Mecca, take this path, which quickly leads to the base of the wall. Otherwise, continue along the main trail. Hike up a series of switchbacks until you reach a first junction, where you turn right. The sector Pachou will be clearly visible ahead. Stay on the main trail, which leads to Pachou Sinistra near a hairpin bend. Pachou Destra can be reached by following trail traces branching off to the right. To reach Miollet, continue past the hairpin bend along the main trail until you reach a dry stone wall. A path turns off to the right leading to Miollet Destro; if you continue straight instead, you will reach Miollet Sinistro. Both Miollet sectors are also connected to each other by a trail trace.
Approach Warning: At the start of the approach, you will find a signpost indicating the three sectors and estimated walking times. These times are quite optimistic, so realistically expect it to take slightly longer.
