First discovered in 2018 by Micky Wisewedel, who opened the initial two lines, the crag originally lay hidden behind a tricky approach and a B (Fr 1c) scramble. Due to the awkward access, the area was largely forgotten. Years later, a fire swept through the lower band, clearing out the dense pine trees and invasive vegetation to reveal an easier approach—and a wealth of good rock. In 2024, legendary Durban developer Roger Nattrass relocated to Cape Town. Bringing his decades of experience with 150+ first ascents to the area, Roger set to work—installing staples to safeguard the scramble section, equipping 13 new routes with glue-in anchors, and establishing two fresh sectors in a remarkable two-month stint.
