Climbing has been limited!
Fontainebleau closed until July 20
Due to fire risk and dry forest conditions, ONF has closed all of Fontainebleau to the public until Monday, July 20, 6:00 AM. Parking lots and access roads are barrier-taped to keep them clear for emergency services.
Please stay out until the closure lifts — check back here for updates.
Park either at the street D301 just before the roundabout (plenty of parking spaces on both side of the road, but respect others and park nicely!). You can also park on the bigger parking in the forest shown on map. Parking at main parking of barbizon will make the approach quite long, so it's recommendable to park on the south-east of the forest of Apremont.
Follow the recorded track and you will arrive to most rocks within 10 minutes of walking.
