Veslo is a coastal Deep Water Soloing area located on the Luštica Peninsula, southwest of Tivat, Montenegro. The crags rise directly from the Adriatic Sea and offer compact limestone walls with a variety of features including edges, pockets, small roofs, and technical face climbing.
The climbing is exclusively DWS, with lines ranging from moderate heights to more sustained and exposed routes. Most sectors offer adequate water depth for safe falls. In some areas the depth is approximately 3–4 meters, requiring controlled falls.
Access is primarily by paddleboard, kayak, or small boat. The sea is generally calm in the morning, with more wind and surface movement possible in the afternoon. The best season is late spring through early autumn, when water temperatures are comfortable.
Rock quality is generally solid, although the lowest section of the wall can be sharp due to constant wave action. As with all sea cliffs, holds may change over time due to natural erosion and weather exposure.
Veslo remains a relatively undeveloped and quiet area. Visitors are encouraged to respect the natural environment and leave no trace.
