Veitakkala is a convenient crag with easy routes and the easiest approach possible. For hardcore climbers, this is a casual crag, but can still be worth a visit. Almost all routes have an anchor.
There is an ample parking, and a gas station with toilets, restaurant and grocery store close by. The crag is almost all day in the sun. If you are equipped with branch-cutters, feel free to cut down small vegetation right next to the crag.
IMPORTANT: The gravel road has frequent traffic. DO NOT BLOCK THE ROAD and DO NOT WALK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. We are quite a lot on display for the locals, to many of whom our climbing will be a new phenomena. So behave politely, leave no trace behind and DO NOT CAMP OR MAKE A FIRE at the crag.
