Situated in Rinkebyskogen naturreservat Trollstenen is locatated. The rock is roughly 5 meter high with a large decimeter-size crack splitting it in half. The boulder has quite good friction in the colder months but contains a lot of glimmer minerals which makes the surface quite brittle and slippery.
The boulder is definitely not a must-visit north Stockholm boulder destination but if you live in the area and have some time to kill it makes for a nice little training session.
There are several different styles of lines on the rock with potential for further cleaning and development. For example, on the backside of the rock facing away from the main road there is potential for some tricky step-up mantles.
The approach is short from nearby parking or take the bus 611/613/604 to Enebytorg and walk.
