Steinfeld ist am schnellsten über die Forststraße mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar, ca. 4,5 km. Am Beginn der Forststraße befindet sich ein kleiner Parkplatz; die Koordinaten sind 47.630794, 13.778157.
Alternativ ist das Gebiet auch über die Uferwege des Altausseer Sees erreichbar, Zustieg ca. 4 km. Dort stehen im Ortsgebiet von Altaussee mehrere Parkplätze zur Verfügung.

Alternatively, the area can be accessed via the lakeside trails around Lake Altaussee, with an approach of approximately 4 km. Several public parking areas are available within the village of Altaussee.
