Several trails start directly across the road and lead into the main sectors of Stangebleau. Most boulders are accessible within a five-minute walk, making the area especially comfortable for long climbing days with minimal hiking.
The Krøllesteinen sector has its own small parking area located close to the boulder at 60.6687642, 11.3165188. The parking capacity is limited, so space can be restricted during busy days. Although it is possible to reach Krøllesteinen on foot from Stangebleau, the walk takes around 25 minutes. For most visitors, driving is therefore the recommended option, as the approach by car takes only about two minutes.
The sectors located along the Måsån road require a slightly longer approach from Stangebleau parking spot, typically around 7–15 minutes on foot from the Stangebleau parking area. However, there are several smaller parking spots along the road that can shorten the walk. You can also park at 60.668415, 11.317973.
The furthest sector from Stangebleau is Den magiske skogen, yet it is still only about a 5-minute drive away. There are two parking options for this sector - the bigger one is at 60.714017, 11.284730 or you can park along the Kolomoen road. There are relatively nice forest paths leading through the woods to the boulders.
