Sørfugløy (bouldering)

First off:
❗Fra 15. pril til 31. juli er all ferdsel over 60 m.o.h. forbudt❗

❗All the bouldering on this part of the island lies within a nature reserve with an abundenace of rare birdlife. From April 15. to July 31. all activity in the reserve is forbidden from 60 m above sea level and up due to nesting and hatching. None of the boulders descibed here lies above this level but don´t venture further up during the restriction periode. Special care should also therefor be shown over the whole island at all times to preserve and respect the nature and wildlife.

🚮There are no trash cans or trash collection on the island. All trash must be brought back with you when you leave.

Practicals:
🚢Fugløya is accessible by commercial boat (see links to timetables below). For this crag the pier at Sørfugløya is the closest. From here it's a bit more than 1 km to the community house and the first boulder.

All the walk-in times are estimated from the community house, which is the western most house of the village near the beach. And this is the campsite used for the yearly climbing festival.
