Per raggiungere il parcheggio:
Da Briga o Domodossola seguire la strada del Sempione fino a raggiungere il Passo.
Numerosi spiazzi per il parcheggio.

From Brig or Domodossola, follow the Simplon road until you reach the pass.
There are numerous parking areas.
Avvicinamento:
- Settori "Inferiore" e "Superiore": dal parcheggio presso l'hotel Monte Leone, prendere a sinistra la strada asfaltata in discesa e, poco dopo, imboccare a destra un'altra strada chiusa da una sbarra.
Tenendo la sinistra all'unico bivio, seguirla fino a un'ultima piazzola; da qui, scendere per tracce di sentiero tra i rododendri fino a raggiungere un sentiero più marcato in una valletta e seguirlo verso sinistra.
Giunti in prossimità dell'evidente fascia rocciosa, risalire brevemente la pietraia sulla destra.
Per arrivare al settore "Strapiombo", appena raggiunto il sentiero nella valletta, proseguire dritti risalendo in direzione del visibile becco strapiombante.
- Settore "Monte Leone": scendere al piccolo laghetto retrostante l'hotel Monte Leone e proseguire sulle tracce contrassegnate da frecce e bolli blu fino a incrociare una stradina asfaltata; oltrepassarla e proseguire sul sentierino ormai in vista della parete.
Un'ultimo tratto lungo la breve pietraia porta al settore.
- Settore "Stalde": dal retro dell'hotel "Simplonblick" scendere sulla strada asfaltata verso destra e dopo pochissimo tenere la destra imboccando la strada senza sbarra; seguirla fino a raggiungere un gruppo di baite con la casa vacanze delle suore Orsoline e, da qui, prendere verso sinistra una traccia di sentiero che sale in diagonale fino alla pietraia basale della parete.
Approach:
- “Lower” and “Upper” Sectors: from the parking lot at the Monte Leone Hotel, take the paved road downhill to the left and, shortly after, turn right onto another road blocked by a bar.
Keep to the left at the only fork, and follow the road to a final clearing; from there, descend along faint trail marks through the rhododendrons until you reach a more distinct trail in a small valley, then follow it to the left.
Once you reach the prominent rocky outcrop, climb briefly up the scree slope on the right.
To reach the “Strapiombo” sector, as soon as you reach the trail in the valley, continue straight ahead, climbing toward the visible overhanging peak.
- “Monte Leone” sector: Descend to the small pond behind the Monte Leone hotel and continue along the trail marked by arrows and blue markers until you cross a small paved road; cross it and continue on the narrow path, now with the rock face in sight.
A final stretch along the short scree slope leads to the sector.
- “Stalde” Sector: From the back of the “Simplonblick” hotel, head down the paved road to the right; shortly after, keep to the right and take the road without a barrier; follow it until you reach a group of mountain huts, including the Ursuline Sisters’ vacation home, and from there, take a trail to the left that climbs diagonally up to the scree slope at the base of the face.
