Description

A compact small area for with a lot of nice boulders for everyone to enjoy. The area features 3 circuits:
Red TD 1-35
Orange AD+ 1-50
Yellow PD+ 1-50
Besides the circuits you have some very nice other climbs and on the other side of the road a few more recently brushed harder boulders.
The area is half shady, very compact and suits well groups with different climbing levels. For families this could also be the perfect area.
The area is low down and half shady, so takes a couple of days after rain to dry up. Let the rock dry properly always before climbing. Wet/moist sandstone is extremely fragile and can break.

The coverage is not perfect down there, so downloading guide offline is recommended.

Hope you'll have a perfect day in this little area you never heard about before

La Ségognole

Climbing has been limited!

Fontainebleau closed until July 20
Due to fire risk and dry forest conditions, ONF has closed all of Fontainebleau to the public until Monday, July 20, 6:00 AM. Parking lots and access roads are barrier-taped to keep them clear for emergency services.
Please stay out until the closure lifts — check back here for updates.

Park on the big parking of Roche aux sabots, from here walk with Chemin de la saussaye towards pivot but continue until you get to a tarmac road. Walk left for about 100 meters and you'll see a path in on the left. Also the boulder at that path has a clear orange 29 painted on it. You can also walk trough Roche aux oiseaux and combine these for one day. They are neighboring areas with only 50m between them.
