Sasso di Introbio

🏞️ Il Sasso di Introbio è un'ampia e storica falesia sportiva in Valsassina (Lecco), una delle aree dove è nata l'arrampicata lecchese negli anni '70. La roccia offre buchi, tacche e gocce, con un'arrampicata tecnica e di precisione che premia i piedi — molte vie classiche sono in placca e piuttosto unte per i decenni di frequentazione. La falesia si sviluppa su più settori, quindi il carattere della scalata cambia spostandosi lungo la parete.
🅿️ Da Lecco, salire in Valsassina; subito dopo il Ponte della Chiusa sul torrente Pioverna, girare a destra seguendo le indicazioni per la Casa delle Guide. Una stradina passa proprio sotto la falesia, dove si può parcheggiare. Il tempo di avvicinamento varia da pochi secondi a circa 5 minuti a seconda del settore.
☀️🍂🌸 Si scala bene in primavera, autunno e nelle belle giornate invernali. La roccia asciuga velocemente, tranne al settore principale ("Sasso") che resta umido più a lungo.

🏞️ Sasso di Introbio is a large, historic sport climbing crag in the Valsassina valley (Lecco) — one of the areas where Lecco's climbing scene was born in the '70s. The rock offers pockets, crimps and slopers, with technical, precision-based climbing that rewards good footwork; many of the classic lines are on slab and are noticeably polished after decades of traffic. The crag spans several distinct sectors, so the character of the climbing changes as you move around.
🅿️ From Lecco, drive up the Valsassina valley; just after the Ponte della Chiusa over the Pioverna torrent, turn right following signs for "Casa delle Guide". A small road passes right below the crag where you can park. Approach time ranges from a few seconds to about 5 minutes depending on the sector.
☀️🍂🌸 Best in spring, autumn, and on sunny winter days. The rock dries fast, except at the main "Sasso" sector which stays damp longer.

🇮🇹 Le prime vie furono aperte da Don Agostino Butturini e dal gruppo "Condor" di Lecco a partire dal 1974-75. Nel 1981 Marco Ballerini installò i primi spit sportivi. La falesia fu completamente riattrezzata a resinati nel 1998 dalla Casa delle Guide.
