Description
“Clach na Boineid” The Bunnet Stane is the Lone Wolf of Strathnairn and has been the ultimate training anvil for young pretenders and hardened wads in the Highlands for decades. This large glacial erratic that would stand up in Font {it’s THAT good} has a great variety of grades on well-travelled problems a few of which are widely regarded to be the best in Scotland let alone the Strath. You can boulder here year-round, the views are spectacular, and the landings tend to be flat and good. Majority of lines opened and cleaned by Trevor Woods and Pete Langlands with some help from a few well-known heads through the years. The walk up to the boulder can be soggy so wear your wellies.
