Rocher Qui Tourne

Climbing has been limited!

The forests of Fontainebleau, Trois Pignons and Commanderie remain closed to the public until further notice. The entire forest remains very vulnerable to fire risk.

We urge everyone to act responsibly and to be patient: do not enter the forest, do not go to the burned areas, and ensure that access routes for emergency vehicles remain clear.

French: En venant de Paris, prendre la sortie Milly-la-Forêt sur l'A6, suivre la D372 en direction de Milly et tourner à gauche sur un chemin de terre au niveau d'un virage en face de Courances (où stationne fréquemment un marchand de fruits). Suivre ce chemin au milieu des champs jusqu'au Carrefour de Montignotte où l'on peut se garer à l'orée des bois. Poursuivre à pied sur le GR et abandonner le Chemin de la Roche qui Tourne en tournant à droite immédiatement au niveau d'une barrière. Le chemin tourne à gauche puis à droite et le massif de la Roche qui Tourne se situe juste à gauche après avoir dépassé des ruches, en face de celui de la Montignotte dont on a longé les blocs.

English: From Paris , take exit Milly-la-Forêt on the A6 , follow the D372 towards Milly and turn left onto a dirt road at a bend in front of Courances (where frequently parked merchant fruit ) . Follow this path through the fields to the Carrefour Montignotte where you can park at the edge of the woods . Continue walking on the GR and abandon the path Roche qui Tourne turning right immediately at a barrier. The path turns left and then right and the Massif de la Roche qui Tourne is located just to the left after passing hives , opposite that of the Montignotte which was bordered blocks .
