Description

This small area is between Vanne's aqueduc, Rocher de la Salamandre and Rocher de Bouligny. It's facing North so carefull it might be freezing between Octobre and April. The rock may be wet after couple of day of raining but it will dry pretty fast on a really windy day. You are really near by an ecologique reserve so please, as always respect the wild life and the forest, but specialy here don't play music too loud and don't let any garbage.

History

Open in July 2007 by Gilles Cottray, only a few boulders are cleaned but the spot is full of possibility.

Rocher du Mont Morillon

Climbing has been limited!

The forests of Fontainebleau, Trois Pignons and Commanderie remain closed to the public until further notice. The entire forest remains very vulnerable to fire risk.

We urge everyone to act responsibly and to be patient: do not enter the forest, do not go to the burned areas, and ensure that access routes for emergency vehicles remain clear.

You can park at the corner of D152 (Route d'Orléans) and Route d'Occident. The spot begins at the top of Route de vénus but you can also get to the rest of the spot by Route de Cupidon 500m further on the left.
The spot is also accessible by foot, from the train station take bus Ligne 1 to "Château" and then walk through the city until you get to the Obelisque and use the path Route de la Croix Saint-Jacques. It will take you 30/35 minutes.
