Climbing has been limited!
Fontainebleau closed until July 20
Due to fire risk and dry forest conditions, ONF has closed all of Fontainebleau to the public until Monday, July 20, 6:00 AM. Parking lots and access roads are barrier-taped to keep them clear for emergency services.
Please stay out until the closure lifts — check back here for updates.
It's recommendable to park at the parking in Le Vaudoué, and walk in from there. It's slightly closer this way.
From there take the path Chemin de la Mee for a few hundred meters. From there you can take an recorded path taking you via Troubadoures or walk first to diplodocus and from there a bit back to the area.
But if you happen to want to go to Cul de Chien as well on the same day, you could also park at the main parking of Sabots.
