Description

ROCHER BRÛLÉ 🪨 🔥 A small area mostly scattered on top of a hill. Dries fairly fast because of this.

The area features few but very good problems. And as for difficulty, one of the only areas in world one could write that has something for everyone. From font 3 up to 9A? (Grade has not settled yet, but extremely hard anyhow!!)

It's often very quiet there but obviously could get even crowded considering that most people might go for the same rocks.

The area features some really easy nice boulders as well that could suit children but it's pretty scattered on the hill so maybe not the best family spot.

The approach varies from around 5 to 15 minutes depending on which boulder you're seeking for. On top of the hill goes a very good visible path. Sticking on this path will usually get you to the next boulder without walking randomly in the nature (Which one should avoid).

📶 Reception is pretty okay up on the hill. Offline guide is though also small in size so might be worth it to download. But 4G reception was found in most of the area.

Rocher Brûlé

Climbing has been limited!

Fontainebleau closed until July 20
Due to fire risk and dry forest conditions, ONF has closed all of Fontainebleau to the public until Monday, July 20, 6:00 AM. Parking lots and access roads are barrier-taped to keep them clear for emergency services.
Please stay out until the closure lifts — check back here for updates.

An old shelter has been destroyed at Rocher Brûlé and climbers are suspected, this is the overhang of Gaia.
Do NOT destroy any artifact or rocks to free new lines.

🅿️ Park at marked spot, and walk along the big path. You will see the boulders from this path. A recorded track is also possible to follow.
