From Ponte di Nava leave the SS28 and follow the valley road towards Viozene, Carnino and Upega. Continue about 500 m beyond the Carnino junction. After a right-hand hairpin, park in the roadside space near the following left-hand bend, without obstructing traffic.
⏳ APPROACH TIME: 30 minutes.

Take the red-marked path on the left side of the road down to the river. Cross only when water levels permit. On the opposite bank walk downstream past a large cairned boulder, then follow the faint uphill path to the cave beneath the wall. Continue up the fixed ropes to the starting ledges; an ascender is useful.
⚠️ The ford can be impassable after rain or during snowmelt. Inspect fixed ropes before use and protect the exposed approach.
