Climbing has been limited!

The forests of Fontainebleau, Trois Pignons and Commanderie remain closed to the public until further notice. The entire forest remains very vulnerable to fire risk.

We urge everyone to act responsibly and to be patient: do not enter the forest, do not go to the burned areas, and ensure that access routes for emergency vehicles remain clear.

The area is partly protected biological reserve and some is private property. Please park as shown on maps. Stick to obvious paths for approaches and behave respectfully. Depending on where you're aiming you have 2 different parkings. The parking close to Opium is quite a long track on a forest road, not the best for bigger vehicles and people who are afraid of scratches on their vehicles. The parking in the village is again more for the western parts of the area.
