Description

Over Owler Tor is a bit of a hidden gem, perched above the classic crag of Millstone Quarry. Although it’s relatively small, it offers a great variety of problems, with everything from vertical walls to small roofs.

Most of the climbs sit at the lower end of the grade scale, making it an excellent spot for anyone just getting into outdoor bouldering. The lines feature solid holds, interesting features, and generally good landings, which add to its appeal for beginners.

Set on open moorland, the crag dries quickly after rain, especially with a bit of wind, making it a reliable option when conditions elsewhere might still be damp. It also boasts beautiful views down to Hathersage and across the Hope Valley, and is particularly special in the evening during golden hour.
