Oltà

Located in the mountain range that gives it its name and from a position that widely dominates the town of Calpe, the Oltá crag enjoys one of the most privileged views over the iconic Peñón de Ifach and offers you the possibility of contemplating some of the most impressive, beautiful and representative images of all the climbing in Alicante. Its activity is mainly carried out on vertical walls with very good quality rock, with almost thirty routes ranging from 10 to 35 meters and with a wide assortment of grades from V to 7c.

The German Jens Münchberg is the great protagonist of this area, where he began bolting in the early 90's. Currently, many of the routes here have been re-equipped, although there are still some that have somewhat exposed and old equipment, especially on the easy routes on the right side.
