Description

Mont d'Olivet
One of the more unknown areas around. This is located in the south in Nemours on top of a hill. Not extremely stroller friendly approach, but if one makes it, it's a wonderful spot for the entire family.
The area features a few harder problems, some of these harder ones are quite high, but the general theme is easier circuit problems. You can find a blue D circuit 1-27 long here and an orange AD 1-28 circuit. Both are excellent by stone quality and good options as ones "first" circuit for someone. Both circuits features mainly problems with very good landings.

Excellent area also for days when the northern part of the forest is hit by rain and south stays clear.

The area is located on top of the hill with mostly small trees giving shade, so it dries quickly as well, but might be a bit hot for summer months.

The reception up in the area is for most part very good.

Good combination with Les Mammouths if one seeks for some harder problems as well.

Mont d'Olivet

Climbing has been limited!

The forests of Fontainebleau, Trois Pignons and Commanderie remain closed to the public until further notice. The entire forest remains very vulnerable to fire risk.

We urge everyone to act responsibly and to be patient: do not enter the forest, do not go to the burned areas, and ensure that access routes for emergency vehicles remain clear.

Park as shown on map, you can find car parkings around the park on all sides except the northern part. The approach is about 10 minutes from any of the parkings.
