Description

The Apremont you never heard of! Apremont Marie-Thérèse is actually very close to the parking and features a bunch of good problems. Rock quality is very good, but it is softer than around in other areas so let it dry well before heading out here. On a busy weekend you could almost certainly be all alone in this area, when again you would need to wait for your turn to try a boulder just 100m away in the main area of Apremont. The quality of the climbs is nothing else than pure Fontainebleau quality!

The area, as seen in pictures, will have a lot of vegetation in late spring and summer, but is still rather easy to walk to and find the problems. None of the boulders are really high or have bad landings. Also, way easier to navigate to boulders than in the dense Apremont boulder jungles around especially carrying a big pad.

Reception is quite poor, because it's basically located on flat ground lower down. So downloading guide offline is highly recommendable.

Have fun!

Apremont Marie-Thérèse

Climbing has been limited!

Fontainebleau closed until July 20
Due to fire risk and dry forest conditions, ONF has closed all of Fontainebleau to the public until Monday, July 20, 6:00 AM. Parking lots and access roads are barrier-taped to keep them clear for emergency services.
Please stay out until the closure lifts — check back here for updates.

Park on the big parking of Apremont, close to the Buvette. Take the route Marie-Thérèse directly south, and depending on target boulder, continue straight or turn slightly left after around 380m. You will reach most of the boulders within a 8 minute walk.
