Description

Le Troglodyte is a beautiful sector located in the south forest of Nemours

Boulders range from easy yellow circuit problems to an orange circuit, a blue circuit up to as many as 30+ single boulder problems (ranging from 4 to 7b+).
Even though the area is mostly shaded by trees, it's quite fast drying when it's windy and most boulders are made up of solid rock.
All boulders follow the mountain range, where you'll find some of the single lines after the end of the Blue and Orange circuit if you continue following the path.

📝 Information about naming:
The boulders are usually marked by the hardest circuit problem (for example Blue20 or B20), followed by the second hardest (O20 = Orange20) and lest hardest (Y20 = Yellow 20).

Single or important lines, will be marked by a short version of the line.

🍁 Season:
Troglodyte can be climbed all year around. There are shaded spots for summer and dries quite fast due to its hillside location.

🧗 Climbing style:
Varied climbing style from slabs to vertical high balls to some powerful overhanging climbs up to 7B+.

Circuits:
🟡 Yellow PD => 25 lines
Shortest circuit in the area, with easy lower climbs which are also suitable for kids.

🟠 Orange AD+ => 41
Long circuit with boulder problems in almost any style with grades around 3 to 4

🔵 Blue D => 36 lines
This a bit more challenging circuit follows the other circuits and has some good lines on solid rock to offer. You find some harder single boulders on these lines as well.
