Located very close to the popular town of Xaló, in the heart of the touristic Vall de Pop, the recent crag of La solana offers a beautiful climbing complex where you can enjoy both vertical itineraries and short and explosive overhangs that even become roofs sometimes. There is a short and easy approach ending up on a climbing wall with two clearly differentiated areas. The easiest lines are located on the left, with grades ranging from V + to 7a and an average height of around 20 meters; while on the right, the routes lose height but gain in demand, reaching difficulties in the seventh grade, and with a project that will surpass the eighth grade.
Description
History
Its first routes date back to 2015 and were bolted by Roy de Valera, after being told by Alex Pastor about the great possibilities this place offered. In 2017, Ángel Simarro and David Font continued with the opening artwork of the area, bolting the vast majority of the easiest lines. Finally, in 2018, another group of local climbers, led by Sergio Pastor, exhausted the possibilities of the wall, bolting in its central overhangs the most difficult routes of the crag.
