THIS AREA IS CLOSED. This area is highly dangerous for climbers due to its location directly downstream of the surge basin and spillway from the upstream hydroelectric facility. Sudden and unpredictable water releases from the spillway can cause dangerous flash flooding along this section of the river at any time. For your safety, and at the request of Hawks Nest Hydro / Brookfield Renewable, this area is closed.
