Sector Kakavo offers a diverse and physically demanding experience, comprising at least seven sub-sectors that descend the valley east of Mesorrachi.
The rock formations are highly varied, ranging from vertical walls defined by pockets and crimps to steep, athletic tufa climbing. This sector somehow attracts more advanced climbers with the majority of routes sitting primarily in the french 7th grade, with approximately a dozen established 8s as well.

History
The community-led bolting project officially began in 2017, spearheaded by the renowned greek equipper D. Titopoulos, with contributions from Th. Pappas and others.
The majority of the accessible, moderate lines were established in 2017 and 2019, respectively. Subsequently, the difficulty ceiling was pushed higher between 2019 and 2021, as a series of more challenging routes were developed primarily by D. Papageorgiou and friends, alongside B. Schlögl.
