In the middle of the lush royal haga park lies a hidden clifface. With an easy approch near the city this is the perfect day trip destination. The rock quality is questionable, and the landings are slim. Make sure to not fall down the hill, a spotter is advised!
The King-line of the crag is "Monstret ur grottan" (6C+) that packs alot of moves into the cliffs short nature. Other climbs are to be considerd as one or two movers, at most. Pinecraft (7A) is surely one of them, classic stockholm choss. An easier but nice one-mover is "Asterix upp" (5)
🌳 The crag lies in the Royal state park, so please be aware of pedestrians and the flora/fauna. You dont want the king to get angry!
🚶♂️Walk to the "Lillhaga" playground from the copper tents, then cross the field behind it. Wach out! Voila! You now have a cliff below you.
🚗Parking can be found att "Hagaparkens parkering " or at Världshusen koppartältet. It does cost, and it is often crowded, so the best way to get there is simply to walk/bike over the Haga brige (Take the bus or the metro).
