Gorge Aux Chat Est sector is situated on the next hill to the north-east from the Gorge aux chats main area. The blocks are situated on a steep hillside, that is not stroller friendly. About half of the routes are on the south side of the hill and dry out fairly ok. The ones on the north side obviously take a bit more time to dry. Some of the most popular blocks are Ascendencia, L'Étoile Filante and Arcenic.
The forests of Fontainebleau, Trois Pignons and Commanderie remain closed to the public until further notice. The entire forest remains very vulnerable to fire risk.
We urge everyone to act responsibly and to be patient: do not enter the forest, do not go to the burned areas, and ensure that access routes for emergency vehicles remain clear.
Please keep the voice low when close to the houses. Park in the same place as for gorge aux chats.
