🚗 Arrival
Attention, GPS navigators often go crazy in these areas. It is highly recommended to set your navigation initially to Sanico!
Reach the center of Toscolano Maderno, specifically the roundabout just after the bridge. From here, follow the signs for Maclino. Continue on the main road. Before entering Maclino, there is a hairpin bend; stay on the main road, following directions for Saclino / Vigole. Drive through the village of Vigole and continue until you reach Sanico.
If you are driving a large van, consider parking here, as the road gets extremely narrow from this point on.
In the center of Sanico, the road splits—one road goes left and one goes straight. Go straight here. Follow this road for 950 meters until you reach another junction where a road branches left towards a house. Keep right at this junction and park after a few meters on the right side of the road. Ensure you leave enough space for the passage of other vehicles.
🚶♂️ Sector
Walk along this paved road for 650 meters and find a path that starts on the left, on the bend of the paved road. The path has a sign indicating the crag.
Walk along the paved road for 650 meters until you find a path that starts on the left, right on a bend in the road. You will see a sign indicating the crag.
Take this trail, which involves about 10 minutes of rough walking through the woods. The path is not always easy but is clearly marked with cairns and fixed ropes leading to the base of the crag.
When the fixed ropes begin, make sure to follow the track to the right. Do not take the uphill track, as that leads to a Multipitch sector (both tracks have fixed ropes). Please note that this approach is not suitable for children, as some sections are slightly exposed.
