A crag with a high concentration of routs in the upper sixes and well worth a visit. The wall faces to the west and sun comes around in the afternoon. Thin cracks dominates this crag so don't forget to bring your small gear. You will need them!
Sommerland (Furuberget nord):
New sector developed 2026. From the left (northern) end of Furuberget, follow the rough terrain beneath the cliff face as it dips in height before rising again, where the forest becomes easy to traverse. After a few hundred meters, you will encounter newly cleaned corners and cracks—all cleaned by Dag Kolsrud and John Egil Nilssen. The cliff faces northwest and remains in the shade all day. The spruce forest has been well thinned, creating an airy feel with long lines of sight between the trees. The forest floor is mossy, green, and soft. The atmosphere is pleasant, especially on warm and/or sunny days. Thanks to the accommodating landowner, Magnus Strand. Please always show courtesy and respect when interacting with any landowner.
