Description

This sector is wrapping the Franchard Cuisiniere around from the west and south.

The reason for this sector being L-shaped is probably due the infamous Black ED+ -circuit which has 34 problems ranging from 6A to 7B+, but the Duel being the cherry on the cake. It's a 8A slab. What and ending to an awesome circuit. In 2017 Nalle Hukkataival climbed this circuit in a day climbing all other problems except Duel on first go (Duel went with 2nd).

Inspite of sector's relatively small number of routes, they have a lot of quality packed into them. Don't trust me? Go ahead, climb Excalibur, Beatle Juice, Moondance, La Mouche, Fil de Aguille, La Chose and we'll talk more.

Just kidding. This sector is well worth exploring.

Cuisinière Crête Sud

Climbing has been limited!

Fontainebleau closed until July 20
Due to fire risk and dry forest conditions, ONF has closed all of Fontainebleau to the public until Monday, July 20, 6:00 AM. Parking lots and access roads are barrier-taped to keep them clear for emergency services.
Please stay out until the closure lifts — check back here for updates.

The forest is a sensitive area. So these rules apply everywhere (also outside Font).

* No littering
* No fires
* Brush the holds
* Do NOT climb when the rock is wet! It is very brittle when wet.
* Carry the pads, don't drag them (helps preventing erosion)
* Stay on the paths!
* Absolutely no bivouacing/camping!

Drive via D409 and take Route du Loup. Park as for Isatis and walk like you would to Cuisiniere.

The walk is ~800m (10-13min) towards East.
