Due to its popular success the place is overcrowded in summer.
From June to September the road is now closed to private vehicles 24h A DAY (in 2026). Better wait mid-October it should normally reopen. Regulations may change from one year to the next.
The road to The Cinque Torri is steep, with a few bumps. Drive slowly and please don't use your horn, so as not to disturb people or animals.
As a last resort you can access the area with the seggiovia (chairlift). But count ca. 37€ for the full go.
