No special access issues
There are some routes that reach 50m of length, so it is highly recommended to use ropes of the longest possible length (80 or even 100m) and always tie a knot at the end of them. The accesses to some belaying spots, especially those of the Cuevas sector, may be very closed with vegetation, so it is advisable to take some pruning shears with you.
How to get to the parking area:
From the Marina Baja: From the AP-7, take exit 64 N-332 Altea / Calpe. After the toll, continue towards N-332 Calpe / Valencia and after 4.7 km, turn right at Pueblo Mascarat. Continue all along Freu street and, after crossing a small bridge from where you can see the Mascarat bridges on the left, take the first turn on the left to Levante street. Follow this street and after 900 meters of steep uphill, you will reach some ´design´ houses, continue for 100 meters and park where the asphalt ends and a non-passable dirt track for vehicles begins.
From the Marina Alta: From the AP-7, take exit 63 N-332 Teulada / Benissa / Calpe. After the toll, take the ramp on the right towards N-332 Benissa / Calpe and continue towards Calpe. Once in Calpe, stay on the N-332 and continue towards Alicante. Pass under the Alicante-Denia railway line and leave an electrical substation on the right, and 800 meters after, take the first on the right and make a U-turn towards Calpe. 250 meters back, turn right to enter the Maryvilla urbanization (direct turning from Calpe is prohibited). Follow the signs for Castellet de Calp and once you reach the last sign park just near the same sign, which directs you towards a dirt road that can only be accessed by foot .
Approach:
From the Marina Baja parking area: From the car park, follow the dirt track and take the first turning on the left. After a few meters you will find a sharp curve to the left from where a small path starts that will take you directly to the walls.
From the Marina Alta parking area: From the parking lot, take the track indicated by the sign and, after about 30 meters continue along the right branch (you will reach the same spot through the left branch). Another 40 meters later, take the wide detour on the right, and after a few meters you will find a sharp curve to the left from where the small path that will take us directly to the walls begins.
