Bolulla

With a privileged location from where the spectacular Tárbena ravine can be contemplated, Bolulla crag offers one of the quietest and loneliest environments in the entire province of Alicante. It is formed by two walls of excellent gray limestone, with a multitude of crimps and pockets, several tufas and some cracks. It contains 35 routes with an average height around 20 meters, a wide range of degrees between the V and 8a and with a comfortable belay point. It also has another sector that we have not included in the guide, due to its really bad approach, uncomfortable belay point and its completely south orientation.

As for its history, although it has not been possible to verify all the data related to this crag, it could be said, almost completely, that the German Jens Muenchberg is the author of the great majority of its routes, equipped Between 2006 and 2011. Regarding the rest of the lines, it is assumed that they are also the work of other German climbers, since most of their names fit perfectly with the unique spelling of the German language.
