Description

Beauvais Hameau 👻
A lovely area mostly scattered on a hill. The area is actually rather big with a lot of circuits. Hameau dries fairly quickly, especially the boulders on top of the hill.
You can find many circuits here
Yellow PD- 🟡 1-34, goes hand in hand with the blue circuit on the west side of the area. So a perfect combination for different level climbers who want to make a circuit together.
Orange AD- 🟠 1-100A! A mega long one, first 1-75 found in this guide and the last 76-100A found in the Premium guide of Beauvais Nainville
Blue D 🔵 1-34, goes hand in hand with yellow circuit on west side of area.
Red TD- 🔴 1-40
Black ED- ⚫ 1-40 long. Very hard circuit.

The boulders in this guide are named according to the circuits, so B and Y means Blue and Yellow. O for Orange and R for Red. Black is always written out to not to confuse with the Blue circuit.

You will obviously also find a lot of problems outside the circuits! And still some first ascents could be done for those searching for that.

The area is very family friendly 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 but not too stroller friendly because of the hill side.

You won't have reception all around, on the hill top for sure but lower down not too much. So it's very advisable to download ⬇️ guide for offline use.

This is a very good area for busier weekends and maybe if one seeks something a bit further away from the main areas of Fontainebleau. Also good to combine with the other areas in Beauvais.

Beauvais Hameau

Climbing has been limited!

Fontainebleau closed until July 20
Due to fire risk and dry forest conditions, ONF has closed all of Fontainebleau to the public until Monday, July 20, 6:00 AM. Parking lots and access roads are barrier-taped to keep them clear for emergency services.
Please stay out until the closure lifts — check back here for updates.

How to get there?
🚗 About 15 minutes north of Milly-la-Forêt, so a bit closer to Paris than most crags.

You can access the area from 2 different parkings
🅿️ Parking on the west side, just north of the small village Beauvais. From here the access is shortest and easiest.
🅿️ Parking the bigger parking of Rocher du Duc (1.9m height barrier!), good if one wants to combine with Nainville. A bit longer approach but very doable.

🚶The first boulders are reached in 5 to 10 min (depending on the parking).
