Description

Beauregard is located in the south below the city of Nemours. It's a small area with hard single lines with a few warm ups and potential to open a few more lines. On crowded days there won't be many people visiting this area! Be prepared to bring a good brush to brush away some mossy sections, because this area doesn't see much traffic.

Notable climbs:
Pierre et Yann, eux, le Savaient 8a
C'est Toujours pour Ceux qui Savent 7c
Le Grand Surplomb de Beauregard 7c (5 ***** star line)
Seuls les Vrais le Savent 7b
Plat Bla Bla 6c+

📝 Information about naming:
The most striking lines will be named, but you will see that most lines are on a few single boulders.

🍁 Season:
The area is drying pretty slowly so some problems might take up to two days to fully dry! (Don't climb on wet rock!). A lot of the boulders fare covered in moss and would need to be rebrushed!

🧗 Climbing style:
Overhanging traverses, mantle problems and a few spicy high slabs. Moonboard-like-problem: Le Grand Surplomb de Beauregard.

Climbing has been limited!

Fontainebleau closed until July 20
Due to fire risk and dry forest conditions, ONF has closed all of Fontainebleau to the public until Monday, July 20, 6:00 AM. Parking lots and access roads are barrier-taped to keep them clear for emergency services.
Please stay out until the closure lifts — check back here for updates.

From the marked parkings follow the big path until there is an intersection on the right that goes up the hill. You will find the isolated roof first! Following the same path you will get to the plateau, where you will find the main area underneath.
