Did a slightly different climb to the one listed here. On the scalp guidebook it lists this rock as ‘tower ridge’ and has an unnamed climb that goes straight up on the crimps (listed at ‘6b?’). I did that, following the obvious line of crimps and avoiding any arete or holds on the right hand side of the rock (including avoiding the good jug side pulls to the right). Since it’s basically just a direct line, if it doesn’t have a name I propose ‘Tower Ridge Direct’ for obvious memorial reasons. Posted a beta video with this anyways. Would like to hear other’s thoughts.

Loved it! But pulling off those tiny crimps is well hard, def harder than 6a+. Incredible climb though. Had so much fun working it

Fun! Barefoot right foot really helped this. Wonder if it’s much harder now that the top hold broke off?

Really fun one move

Loved it! Super fun moves, just have to really trust a small foot for the shoulder move. Thought it’d be a multi-sesh project but it somehow went down in about an hour

Thought it was a one mover but the top wasn’t too easy either!

I found rocking over all the way to the jug too far, so managed it more statically with a small intermediate!

First 7a! I think a flash? I’d done gully’s before and maybe felt the traverse holds but don’t think I ever tried it. Pulled on, and it just went somehow!

Honestly this climb is just everything I love about climbing
