Simson Marathon

Great classic und kingline in this grade! Long roof boulder problem (about 9 - 10 m) with beautiful moves on jugs, good ledges and slopers that requires good power endurance! The final part of the boulder involves long moves and a strenuous "swing out", that are simply not possible for significantly shorter climbers. The last few moves on ledges leading to the top hold are also quite tough. Especially for shorter climbers the "Simson Halbmarathon" (6B) is highly recommended - it ends at the two prominent jugs (to the left of the start of "King Hard") and is also listed here on 8a.nu.
