Climbing has been limited!

The forests of Fontainebleau, Trois Pignons and Commanderie remain closed to the public until further notice. The entire forest remains very vulnerable to fire risk.

We urge everyone to act responsibly and to be patient: do not enter the forest, do not go to the burned areas, and ensure that access routes for emergency vehicles remain clear.

Park on the side of the road, at the GPS point you should see a hole in the foliage, that leads to a muddy path. Use it to climb up the hill till the cave. There are a lot of loose rock in the cave and the low part of the routes are pretty crumbly, please do not make this area overcrowded. In case of rain the access path can be very slippery and sometimes even not practicable at all.
