The forests of Fontainebleau, Trois Pignons and Commanderie remain closed to the public until further notice. The entire forest remains very vulnerable to fire risk.

We urge everyone to act responsibly and to be patient: do not enter the forest, do not go to the burned areas, and ensure that access routes for emergency vehicles remain clear.

Park either at isatis or Gorge du houx parking. It's about 15 minutes of a walk to approach the area. From Isatis, head towards east, and about 5 min after Cuisiniere hill you will see the boulders on your right side. From Gorge du houx, follow the big path to the west, after the junction of Route Raymond the boulders are on the right side of the road. Continue with the path until you reach your desired boulder. Follow the GPS tracks for easiest approach.
