El Cepellar

Access is sensitive!

To access the Altea Hills urbanization you will find a control post where you must report that you are heading to the climbing area. The car park is very small and is located on the outside of a curve in Calle Gales. It is very important to leave the vehicles perfectly parked, so that you do not alter the normal traffic of the street itself, as well as the entrance to the forest track that begins there. For all these reasons, it is recommended to bring as few cars as possible and, if necessary, look for another place to park at the end of the same street, Calle Gales.

How to get to the parking area:

From the AP-7, take exit 64 N-332 Altea/Calpe (If you travel from the south) or exit 64 N-332 / CV 755 Altea / Callosa d'en Sarrià (if you do it from the north ). After the toll, continue towards N-332 Calpe / Valencia and after 2.9 km, turn left to enter the Altea Hills urbanization. After 1.1 km, turn right and you will arrive at the access control post on the east side of the urbanization. After the barriers, take the second exit from the roundabout on Avenida Europa and continue for 1.9 km. At this point, turn to the right on Calle Gran Bretaña, and 160 meters later, take the detour to the left on Calle Gales. After 450 meters and a pronounced uphill ramp, you will arrive at the parking lot, just outside a very sharp curve to the right where you will see a gate leading to a dirt track.

Approach:

From the car park, pass through the gate and after a few meters you will find a detour to the right towards Barranc Salat / Cocó. Take this detour and almost immediately, turn left on the first path that you find, which will take you directly to the climbing walls.
